(GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Edison, NJ.\nResponsibilities\nLead plumbing engineer responsible for design and preparation of construction documents, drawings, specifications, calculations, etc.\nConduct site visits, inspections, field surveys to support design and construction phases.\nEnsure designs comply with applicable codes and standards.\nCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and other team members.\nProvide construction administration support.\nUse engineering and design computer software to complete assigned work (i.e. Autodesk Revit MEP & AutoCAD)\nQualifications\nPreferred Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.\n6+ years of relevant mechanical design or construction experience.\nStrong communication and organizational skills\nWorking knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., NYC Building Codes, ASHRAE).\nProficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and mechanical design software.\nPE is strongly preferred.\nPreferred Skills:\nAbility to work independently and take lead on projects.\nStrong communication and organizational skills.\nSelf-motivated with the ability to multitask to meet specific project deadlines.\n We are committed to your success, and we invest in your growth and development to unlock your full potential.\nCompetitive Total Compensation Package\nEmployee- Only Stock Purchase Plan\nMentoring programs\nContinuing Education Program\nEmployee referral bonus\nVolunteer/Industry association opportunities\n Our Culture:\nWe believe in the power of collaboration.
