LinkedIn API
Real-Time LinkedIn Data API - access professional profiles with work history, skills, and contact signals; company data with employee rosters and headcount; and job postings from LinkedIn's professional network.
What Is the LinkedIn API?
The LinkedIn API provides programmatic access to LinkedIn's professional network data, returning individual profiles with full names, professional headlines, current job titles, employers, and locations. Each profile record includes complete work history with company names, roles, and tenures; education history with institutions and degrees; skills and endorsements; certifications; languages; and honors. Contact signals including email addresses are returned where available. Searches can be run by name, job title, company, or location, and profiles can be retrieved in bulk for target companies or industry segments.
At the company level, the API returns organization pages with employee headcount, industry, headquarters location, and current job postings - including job titles, descriptions, locations, and posting dates. A dedicated employees endpoint extracts staff lists by company with names, titles, departments, and seniority levels. Because LinkedIn's official API access is tightly restricted, third-party access is particularly valuable for B2B sales intelligence platforms, recruiting and talent sourcing tools, CRM enrichment pipelines, outreach automation services, and org chart mapping products that depend on professional network data at scale.
